Golden Hill is a neighborhood in San Diego Count East of Downtown San Diego. It is bordered by Balboa Park to the north and serviced by the 5 and 94 Freeways. Golden Hills is recognized as having some of the most historical homes in San Diego, with many homes constructed before 1900. A community that is very musically inclined, Golden Hill hosts two outdoor concerts a year; The Golden Hill Block Party and Kate Sessions Fest. The Women's History Museum and Educational Center is also located in Golden Hill.
