2011 San Diego Superior Court Holidays

In San Diego, the Court’s which hear divorce, legal separation, paternity, annulments, child custody, child visitation, spousal support, child support, division of assets and debts including homes, condominiums, investment properties, retirement division, bank accounts, move away cases and motions as well as other hearings and trials are closed for the holidays as listed below. Some of the holidays of the Court are not federal holidays and many persons take off work to go to court when it is closed so this schedule will allow you to know when the Court’s are open.

In San Diego, the main family law court house is in downtown San Diego with six departments, at the Madge Bradley building also downtown with two departments, Chula Vista with three departments, Vista with five departments and El Cajon with three departments. All are on the same schedule for holidays. As there are strict time lines under the family law code and San Diego Superior Court local rules, it is very important to include holidays for filing purposes of responses to motion and other pleadings.
